Although born in Newark, New Jersey, Tamarea the Model proudly claims the state of North Carolina as her home. Her family relocated to the south when she was only 4, and she remained there with her two sisters from grade school through high school. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Spanish with certification in Spanish Translation at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  

     To date, she continues to make strides in her career as a Fashion and Runway Model, from featuring in an international ad campaign with a New York based hair weave company, to walking in runway shows from coast to coast, and even working as a model coordinator and mentor to other young girls entering the industry. Her passions include writing, music, hair and beauty, volunteering, and paying it forward by helping others. Tamarea recently began a new journey as a blogger to share her life experiences and revelations about the fashion industry, as well as to promote awareness about things happening within her community.

      Tamarea has fought through adversity graciously and tenaciously. Her biggest aspiration in life is to inspire others to chase their dreams against all odds. In early 2019, she traveled to walk the runway for Visçera NY during their private showcase for New York Bridal Fashion Week. That same year, she also appeared as a model at the BETX House of Fashion and Beauty in Los Angeles for the clothing brand Sprayground, and even accomplished one of her lifelong goals of walking during

New York Fashion Week for designer Staci Sherri. Tamarea continues to work as a Freelance Model, Brand Ambassador, and Content Producer based in North Carolina.
